With the launch of X-Men Vol.2 Wolverine was back in his blue and gold costume by issue 4 and stayed with this costume for close to a decade into his X-Men Blue Team phase. The 92 Wolverine "tiger stripe" costume was also popularized for a generation because of the long-running X-Men Animated Series.
