This particular piece was "constructed" through photographs taken of old interesting fence posts and visits to the Nature Museum in Ottawa for views of Great Horns up close.
Done completely in graphite, this piece took a considerable amount of time and effort to obtain the softness and many layers of the underlying feathers.
The original was sold to a client in Montreal.
