Supercharge your server, workstation, or high-performance desktop with the SIIG Dual Port 10G SFP+ Ethernet Network PCI Express card. This high-speed PCIe add-on unlocks two independent 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) SFP+ ports, delivering raw bandwidth and reliable connectivity for virtualization, data-intensive backups, media rendering, and scalable storage networks. Built around the proven Intel X520 chipset, the card is designed to handle demanding workloads with low latency, excellent throughput, and robust error handling, making it a favorite for IT professionals who require predictable performance under load. Whether you’re expanding a data center rack, building a resilient two-host cluster, or upgrading a single workstation to handle large file transfers, this card provides the headroom you need without sacrificing compatibility or reliability. The installation is straightforward: slide the card into an available PCI Express x8 (or larger) slot, secure the bracket, and connect standard SFP+ modules or DAC cables to meet your fiber or copper networking requirements. With dual, independent ports, you gain the flexibility to segment networks, implement dedicated management paths, or aggregate bandwidth across switches that support link aggregation, all while maintaining clear separation between critical services and less-sensitive data streams. The Intel X520-based design is renowned for robust performance, wide compatibility with SFP+ transceivers, and mature driver support across multiple operating environments. In short, the SIIG dual-port 10G SFP+ card delivers scalable, cost-effective, and future-proof networking capabilities that help you maximize throughput, minimize latency, and keep your critical workflows moving smoothly.

  • Two independent 10GbE SFP+ ports provide simultaneous, high-bandwidth connections for separate networks or for combined throughput on compatible switches. This dual-port configuration enables workload isolation, fault tolerance, and flexible network architectures, making it ideal for virtualization hosts, storage servers, and performance-focused workstations. With each port capable of delivering up to 10 gigabits per second in full duplex, you can move large data sets quickly, stream high-definition media from storage arrays, or back up sizable datasets with minimal disruption to other tasks. The separate paths reduce contention and provide deterministic performance for latency-sensitive applications, while still allowing you to leverage advanced networking features like VLANs and traffic prioritization where supported by your switch and host software.
  • PCI Express x8 or larger slot compatibility ensures broad compatibility with modern servers and desktops. The card is designed to fit PCIe 2.0 x8 or higher slots, providing ample bandwidth for two 10GbE connections and leaving room for other PCIe devices in the system. This makes it suitable for a wide range of chassis and motherboards, from data-center peering servers to high-performance desktops used for development, data analysis, and media production. The x8 interface not only supports peak throughput but also enables efficient data transfer and reduced latency, which is critical for real-time analytics, virtualization, and high-IO workloads. The card’s physical profile is engineered to mount securely in standard PCIe slots and align with motherboard I/O backplanes for clean, reliable cabling and airflow in dense racks or compact workstations.
  • Intel X520 chipset for reliable, advanced networking functionality
  • Flexible SFP+ connectivity supports a wide range of transceivers and DAC cables
  • Ideal for virtualization, storage, and high-performance networking with independent ports that simplify topology design

How to Install SIIG Dual Port 10G SFP+ Ethernet Network PCI Express

Installing the SIIG Dual Port 10G SFP+ Ethernet Network PCI Express card is a straightforward process designed to minimize downtime and complexity. Before you begin, power down the system completely and unplug the power. Ground yourself to prevent static discharge, then open the system case to access the PCIe slots.

1) Locate an available PCI Express slot, preferably a PCIe 2.0 x8 or larger to ensure full bandwidth support for both 10GbE ports. If you’re upgrading a server with multiple PCIe devices, plan the slot position to optimize airflow and keep cables neatly organized.

2) Gently align the card with the chosen PCIe slot and press firmly until the card is fully seated. Secure the bracket to the chassis using the screw provided to ensure stability and proper shielding. Improper seating can result in intermittent connectivity or system boot issues.

3) Install SFP+ modules or DAC cables into the two SFP+ ports. Select the appropriate transceiver type for your environment (e.g., SR/LR/ER optics for fiber, or direct-attach copper for short-range connections). Ensure the media is compatible with your network switch or router to enable 10GbE operation.

4) Reassemble the chassis, reconnect power, and boot the system. In most operating systems, the driver installation will occur automatically if you have internet access, or you can download the latest drivers from the SIIG support site. Once the system is up, verify that both 10GbE ports are recognized in the network configuration panel.

5) Configure the network as needed. You can assign VLANs, set up IP addressing, and enable advanced features such as link aggregation if your switches support it. For virtualization or storage applications, you may want to reserve one port for management traffic and the other for data traffic, or configure NIC teaming for redundancy and higher aggregate bandwidth. If you plan to use bonding or teaming, ensure your switch supports the corresponding protocol (e.g., LACP) and that your host OS includes the appropriate networking drivers and utilities.

6) Monitor performance and adjust settings. After installation, run throughput tests to confirm 10GbE performance on each port and monitor for any latency spikes or packet loss. Fine-tune offload, interrupt moderation, and queueing settings as needed to fit your workload. Regular firmware and driver updates from SIIG or the chipset supplier help maintain compatibility with evolving networks and security standards.

Great working air purifier for bedroom
Color: White
Works really well. The pre filter captures so much dust you can really tell it's working as it should. The screen shows how dirty the air is and you can watch it go down as it cleans, didn't think we would need that but it's been surprisingly satisfying to see the quality visually. Very quiet on the lowest setting, easy to sleep with.. gives a nice white noise. The highest still isn't bad, the volume is similar to like a normal tower fan. Design is nice, it's a good looking machine. The only negative would be how bright the small display screen is at night but we just cover it if needed. Haven't tried the oil extract diffuser and probably won't. Works very well for cigarette smell! I'm sure if we had two it would completely remove the smoke smell. Overall would definitely buy again.

Sound not an issue
Color: White
I've had this for about a month, so far works great. I smoke Cigars in my apartment and it is working good. Clears the smoke great even with the filter it came within is a bit loud on the 2nd and third setting, but it is not distracting. I leave it on the first setting over night and its quiet. Next morning there is no cigar smell. Of course I empty ash try. When I come home from work my place smells great and I hardly see see any dust on my glass TV stand and tables. I've read some bad reviews on the sound, but its something you don't hear when tv or radio is on. It really sounds like having a fan on. I would recommend this for the price. I've had other air purifiers no difference on sound.

MOOKA Air Purifier Rocks!
Color: White
I put my Mooka Air Purifier through a very hard test running it 24 hours a day 7 days a week 30 days in a 275 sq ft area so I could provide an accurate review. My husband and I have a dog, woodburning stove, our 115-year-old is close to the road and there is a limestone quarry across the street; our house is extraordinarily dusty. We noticed an improvement the very first day using our Mooka! The nighttime setting is silent so I was able to use it all night. When we’re in the room, we use settings 1 or 2 and can watch TV. When we are out of the room, we use setting 3. Setting 3 can be loud but that is okay, I need that extra power and it does a fantastic job. My Mooka is lightweight, easy to use and a compact workhorse. Another fantastic feature is the highly effective, affordable replacement Hepa filters that have a washable foam pre-filter. I paid under $80 for our Mooka and it is worth every penny. We are ordering a second one. The proof is in our air quality at home. Tried to upload photos of the filter, but could not, sorry!
