Taped at Dallas Memorial Auditoriumsoon after "Say It Loud - I'm Black and I'm Proud" had been released to the airwaves, it includes one of the only live recordings of the song, with the arena crowd shouting the call and response portions. Village Voice critic Robert Christgau deemed it the second best live recording from Brown's "crucial" 1967-71 period, behind 1970's Sex Machine. James Brown was a singer, songwriter, dancer, musician, record producer and bandleader. A progenitor of funk music and a major figure of 20th century popular music and dance, he is often referred to as the "Godfather of Soul". In a career that lasted 50 years, he influenced the development of several music genres.

Classic old-fashioned presentation, versatile uses

I loved the presentation of this glitter in an old-fashioned atomizer perfume bottle with a pink squeeze puff. Because glitter powder is not prone to evaporation, an atomizer is actually a great way to package powder. I tried this product with the atomizer and without. Honestly, I was just looking for some sparkles on my cheekbones and a glitter streak in my hair for a New Years Party. The instructions advised that for a targeted glitter application, spray the glitter on your hand and apply it with a brush. I found that this way left too much glitter behind on my hand. Instead, I shook some glitter onto a piece of paper and mixed some with Aquaphor for application on my face. This helped the glitter adhere to my skin and lasted for hours. I mixed some glitter into hair gel and applied it to a streak in my hair. The larger pieces of silver glitter really sparkled this way. Overall, this packaging looks great and would be functional if you were looking for an all-over application. Otherwise, just using a simple bottle works as well.

I love cute little things like this with the spray bulb. They’re fun gifts. My daughter likes to shimmer sometimes. She kind of overdid it the first time. It does t take much to get a sparkly, fine shimmer. The photos are a bit exaggerated on the product page. You don’t have to “paint” your skin with it. It’s an easy application, and when used right really provides a nice accent. It’s light and has a quality look and feel.

This shimmer is beautiful! It applies smoothly and evenly and it sparkles absolutely beautifully. You can do one spritz for a very light coverage or a few to really glow! I love the applicator - makes me feel fancy. It was a little bit sticky at first but it dries quickly and isn't sticky after that. It's a really great product to brighten up your look. Highly recommend!
