2020 Alice & Olivier De Moor Chablis 1er Cru "Mont de Milieu", Burgundy, FranceABOUT THIS WINE The De Moors acquired 0. 82 hectares of this 1er Cru in 2017. It is extremely steep and has to be worked by horse as it is too dangerous to work by tractor (hence why everyone else uses herbicide). The site gets its name (Mount of Middle) because it's on the border of Champagne. The vines at the bottom of the hill were planted in the 80's and the middle and the top in the 1930's. Yields in the old vines are very low and concentrated
