Description

Nepenthes thorelii x hamataAn oustanding recent cross made by Christian Klein. The female parent is the true thorelii. We grow this one under intermediate and highland conditions but also suspect it would do well as a highlander. Great leaf and pitcher color so far. These are all seed grown individuals. This product is considered a Intermediate Tropical plant. Please see our Shipping and Guarantees policy for cold hot weather shipping guidelines. Most of our products come with

reptiles and invertebrates

Check out our in depth view of the cultivation and ecology of Nepenthes klossii

The exact medium/large sized plant is shown in photos 2-4

We've found the plants to exhibit a range of coloration in pitcher coloration and morphology

Most clones are striped and some are golden

intermediate and highland conditions though they seem to prefer it best a bit on the warmer side

We have found these plants to be vigorous

This may be the most vigorous primary hybrid with hamata out there and may also succeed well on a sunny windowsill

It is a seed grown plant originally from Borneo Exotics

They are tolerant of warmer temperatures for a few weeks but temps over 100 should be avoided

Plants are shipped bareroot with pitchers and phyllodia intact

we expect these plants to grow well across a broad range of lowland
