Hausa Brass Bell CurrencyFrom the Hausa people of Nigeria, these bronze bells were traditionally used for practical and spiritual purposes. It is believed that the sound of ringing bells vibrates into the spirit world to draw the attention of the ancestors. Each bell is hand sculpted with simple carving details. Stand is included. Please note stands may have minor imperfections.
Each horn will vary slightly and natural markings or colour pigments may occur
They are extremely hard wearing as the roots from the Makenge bush allow for higher coils to be woven
