Montezovo Amarone Della Valpolicella
Description
Montezovo Amarone Della ValpolicellaThe grapes for this Amarone Della Valpolicella by Montezovo are grown in Tregnago with an altitude between 350 650 above sea level. The grapes remain in a drying facility for a few months in winter time. After fermentation, the wine begins its ageing process in barriques for around 24 months. The wine is then blended in wood vessels where it remains for a further 6 months. It's then bottled and refines for another 12 months before commercial release.
