The history of these lovely beads are quite remarkable. Starting with the turquoise, this piece is from Tibet and was worn 100's of years ago for ceremony. The white beads are Hawaiian puka shells I found on Kauai. The tan colored bead is a genuine piece of woolly mammoth ivory from a melting glacier in Alaska.
