Ludlamite on Limonite and Pyrite
Description
Ludlamite on Limonite and PyriteA beautiful Ludlamite specimen from the famous mine at Haununi. This mine is actually the LARGEST Cassiterite deposit in the world but is best known for its phosphate species. There are truly about 5 localities in the world the produce fine crystallized Ludlamite specimens, and ALL of them, except for Huanuni and now defunct. This piece features a pair of beautiful sunburst like sprays of pleasing green color Ludlamite with good luster, sharpness and
"butterfly"-twinned crystals up to 15 cm on matrix
The piece is clearly contacted
