26002 PENN CENTRAL DEWITT RS3M #9972-HOThe DeWitt RS3M was a rebuild program performed in the early 1970s by the Penn Central's DeWitt shops in Syracuse, NY. These were dubbed with the nickname "DeWitt Geeps," as they were converted from standard ALCo RS3s to be equipped with the EMD 567B prime movers and components recycled from surplus EMD E units. This analog (DC) version features 21 pin plug for DCC, DCC.
