Antique Victorian Christmas Card - Beautiful Embossed Edged Little Girl with Hoop and Robin 1870sThis is a beautiful Victorian Christmas card before they became established as they are now. It is likely to be 1870s and features a lovely embossed edge and to the centre is a bright picture of a young girl stopping playing with her hoop to chat to a robin. It has a nice A Merry Christmas to the bottom and the back is unused. It is a very rare and very charming piece which will display beautifully, particularly framed and measures 3. 5 inches high.

It comes with its own beautiful box of silver exterior with a gorgeous cream silk interior and black velvet to the bottom part where it holds the brooch beautifully to display

It has a lovely design of black lines across the wood and a little lip opener to the front

They are beautifully decorated with diamond cut frames and gorgeous decorative etching along the arms of the glasses

It is made of glass to the base with very attractive cut glass designs to all sides and the bottom with minor nibbles to the sharper edges and some small shallow chips to the interior edge but nothing very evident

The tin has a lovely mottling design and the text The Crescent Quality Buttons

The lid removes nicely and it has a good clean interior and is quite naive in construction with minor varnish wear and slightly rough edges and the intricate mosaic work of lovely design

This folds back to reveal a little secret picture of two singing robins and another motto of The Comps of the Season

This is a beautiful coin storage from the Victorian era
