Rocky Mountain Goats - Print (Retail 11x14)The Rocky Mountain goat is one of the most magical animals I can think of. They must be some distant relative to the Unicorn, but with two horns twice the magic. There is this pretty special spot just a few hundred feet from my front door up here on Sugarloaf. It's an amazing quartz deposit that sits up on the top of the ridge. As winter starts to set in, the winds can be ferocious and quite often blow the trees over. The view from my studio window

My vision with this piece was to print the entire image on 3 different species of wood

Through the seasons the views of this part of the mountains change dramaticaly

and I’m always humbled in their presence
