According to the Chateau, 2022 was the hottest and driest year on record and have in this vintage incorporated the highest proportion of Smillon ever at 40%. (2021 was 35%). There have been no critic tasting notes released yet but the word from inside Bordeaux is that the 2022 has a wonderful floral nose, with citrus fruit tartness combined with lots of freshness, salinity and a very long and complex finish.
