10600270 CONRAIL GONDOLA-NN Scale Conrail Rd# 617210 Rel. 08 24 This GE52E 50 covered gondola was built for Erie Lackawanna and later obtained in the 1976 creation of Conrail, when it was repainted and fitted with a coil steel cover. Erie Lackawanna was formed through the 1960 merger of the Erie Railroad, and the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad. It was rolled into Conrail in 1976, and most rolling stock was repainted and re stenciled into the Conrail paint scheme.
